Inspired by the easy to wear and versatile silhouettes of Grandma's Samfus, the Nowadays Crop Top is a comfortable ruffle crop top closed delicately with press studs just like in the old days. Get matchy and nostalgic with the Not Long Ago pants. Also available in Philippines pink.

This piece is part of the Nowadays, a Garden Party capsule collection, a collaboration between Little Islanders and Dear Samfu creating limited edition matching mother-daughter clothing from block print fabric custom made for Little Islanders by Matter Prints .

The fabric's geometrical, angular rhythm is inspired by the Philippines' namesake as the Sunshine Nation, the rays on the sun in the national flag and carvings on a local gong called Kulintang.

  • Ruffle neckline
  • Metal press stud closure

The block print is designed by Anya Lim of Anthill Fabric for Matter Prints and custom made by Matter Prints for Little Islanders. The unique geometrical pattern takes its inspiration from the Philippines' namesake as the Sunshine Nation (the rays of the sun in the national flag) and the carvings on a local metal gong called the Kulintang.
